About Us

Flyfishing is what fascinates us utterly. Beloved trouts and graylings, salmons and huchens we dream of, magnificent rods and flies. The latter is what we tie at the end of the line and what connects us with the fish. In our fly boxes we have both flies to fish with and flies to show off. There are also flies that we would like to have but not necessarily fish with, as there is some magic and charm in them.
There are no ugly flies. All have their beauty and are unique in the way we anglers perceive them. We strive to tie our flies with precision to make them look best. Many of us spend days tying one fly, pushing care for details to the boundaries of perfection. Sometimes a tiniest defect makes us go back and tie the fly again from scratch. But the final effect is usually worth it.
The idea behind "The Fly Pattern Gallery - Collections" is to allow us to enter the world of fantasy, where we can take a break, relax, possibly find inspiration for our own flies. The Gallery is contributed by tiers who are passionate in their hobby and like to share effects of their work with others.
